When will my credit card be charged?

ANSWER

Your credit card will be charged after the successful placing of your order and the approval of your card. If there are any problems, you’ll hear from us.

When will my Instant EFT payment clear?

ANSWER

When paying by Instant EFT, there will be no waiting period before your payment is received and your order is authorised.

Where can I view my existing and past orders?

ANSWER

Click on the “My Account” page, and login.  Navigate to the “My Orders” link on the left hand side of the page to view all your orders.  You can cancel, view or pay for your orders from this page.  You can also get to your orders here.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

ANSWER

On the “My Account Page” click on the link next to ‘Lost your password?’ and enter the email address that you account was registered with and click ‘Submit‘. We will email you a link to this email address which you can click on to reset your password.  You can also reset your password here.

Is it safe to shop with us?

ANSWER

Where do I find bundle deals on the site?

ANSWER

When a bundle deal is available in respect of a particular product, this will be indicated in the search results, on the product listing pages and on the product details pages.

What is a bundle deal?

ANSWER

A bundle deal consists of two or more individual products which, when bought together as a bundle, entitle you to a discount on the purchase price of any one or more of the individual products.

Does 4×4 Mega World Online ship internationally?

ANSWER

We do not ship outside of South African borders at this time.

Can I change my delivery address?

ANSWER

We unfortunately can’t make changes to your delivery address once payment has been received and you have received your Payment Confirmation email.

Can I pay using EFT?

ANSWER

Yes, 4×4 Mega world Online has an Instant EFT payment option via our payment partner PayFast.

Instant EFT is a payment service that allows you to pay via EFT without the hassle of a waiting period or additional fees.

PayFast
PayFast is an Instant EFT payment option available to all customers who bank with ABSA, First National Bank, Nedbank or Standard Bank.

How it works

Select Instant EFT as your payment option during checkout and click on the PayFast option.
You will be redirected to the PayFast payment engine where you’ll be prompted to pay the appropriate amount via EFT from your internet banking site.
PayFast account details and a unique reference number will be provided to you by PayFast during the payment process.
After completing your EFT payment on your internet banking site, return to the PayFast screen and click the “COMPLETE” button.
Receipt of your payment will be verified and your order completed.
You will be notified of successful payment and completion of your order via email.

What are my payment options?

Payfast:  Choosing this option and clicking on “Place order” will redirect you to the Payfast Payment Gateway.

Payfast enables you to make Credit & cheque card payments, Instant EFT and Debit Card payments that clear immediately. VISA and Mastercard are accepted credit cards, while Instant EFT supports FNB, ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbank, CAPITEC Bank and INVESTEC. Debit Card Payments are processed through PayD –  you need to bank with ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbak, Bidvest, Postbank or VBS, and have a mobile phone with MTN or Vodacom.

ZAPPER:  Selecting this payment option will redirect you to the Zapper Payment Gateway.

Zapper enables you to make payment user the ZAPPER app on your mobile phone.

How do I buy something from 4×4 Mega World Online?

ANSWER

1. Find the product you wish to buy

Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of the website. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top and left navigation bar of each department. When you find a product that interests you, click the title or name of the product to see its details, including availability.

2. Add to cart

Found the products you want to buy? Click on “Add to cart” or “Buy Now”. Your shopping cart contains all the products that you have selected to buy. Once you’ve added a product to your shopping cart, you can go back and keep searching and adding to your cart. You can access the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the green cart button at the top right of any page on the 4×4 Mega World Online website.

You can also add products to your Wish List, which is a handy list of all the products that you do not want to check out with immediately, or which are out of stock but that you want to remember for later. You can move products between your shopping cart and your Wish List. Products have to be in your shopping cart for you to check out.

3. Check out

To enter checkout, go to your shopping cart and click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button.

You will now be prompted to log in or register, if you are not already logged in.

Select your delivery address, or create a new delivery address.

Select your payment method, insert any voucher or promotional coupon details, and click on the ‘Proceed‘ button on the bottom right of the page.

Choose your payment method and follow the steps to complete payment, then click on ‘Pay Now‘ to complete the order.

A complete order summary will now display with all the details of your complete order.

How do I place an order?

When will the item I want be in stock?

ANSWER

All out of stock items will be replenished as soon as more stock is available to us. You can check back on the product page to see if the item you have your eye on is available again.

We do currently have an automated alert system to let you know when an item is back in stock.  Go to the product page in question, enter your email address in the field and click the “Add to waiting list” button to be notified when the item is back in stock.

My email address has changed. How do I update this on my current account?

ANSWER

Login with your email address, that your account was registered with, and your password,

Go to Your Account > Personal Details,

Change your old email address to your new one and save your changes.

Your new email address will be your user Login from now on.

Can you give me more information about a product?

ANSWER

We provide all the available product information that we have from our suppliers on every product page. You’ll find all the important details under ‘Description’ and ‘Product Info’ on each product page.

Can you help me find an item?

ANSWER

If you know the category where your product is most likely to be stocked, you can browse our range using our “Shop by Category” menu on the 4x4megaworldonline.com homepage.

Alternatively, type the name of your product into our search bar found at the the top of every 4x4megaworldonline.com page. You can then further filter your search results by category, and price using the navigation.

Why haven’t I received my payment confirmation email?

ANSWER

You’ll receive your payment confirmation email once we’ve received payment. If you haven’t received it yet you can check your Order History under your 4×4 Mega World Online account profile to make sure your payment has been processed successfully.
