We are seeking a highly skilled, precision-driven Mandrel Pipe Bender Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Klerksdorp. If you have a strong background in operating CNC/manual mandrel bending equipment and working with steel fabrication, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and safely operate mandrel pipe bending machinery to shape tubes and pipes according to exact specifications.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, measurements, angles, and manufacturing specifications.

Material Selection: Work comfortably with various metals and wall thicknesses, ensuring proper tool tooling changes to prevent wrinkles or kinks.

Quality Control: Inspect finished components using calipers, protractors, and check-fixtures to maintain strict quality standards.

Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor operational faults.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically operating Mandrel Pipe Bending machines in a steel fabrication environment.
- Education: Grade 12 or a relevant N3 Technical Qualification / Trade Certificate is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of metal tolerances, spring-back calculations, and tooling configurations.
- Attributes: High attention to safety standards, precision, and physical stamina required for a factory environment.
